Hi! Benjamin is now 30 weeks gestational age. He is still doing very well and we are enjoying an "upswing" in his health for the time being. He has lost weight the past couple days, so I am not sure if they will adjust his feedings again or just wait to see if he gains any more tomorrow night.
One big prayer request for the week. He has done pretty well at being slowly weaned off the ventilator over the course of the past couple days and if he continues to tolerate being weaned, they will attempt to extubate him off the ventilator Friday. After 5 weeks of being on the ventilator, we are really excited about the possibility of graduating from it. Please join us in prayer that his lungs are strengthened that he will succeed. It sure would be nice to see him off the vent.
